In Kyoto there is a walk, a promenade, where, during cherry blossom season many people will come to view the blossoms at night.

Along the walk, hanging from posts, are iron brazers with wood fires therein that warm the passersby and illuminate the blossoms with warm flickering light .

Truly magical.
