Structural restoration of NER 70, for a private owner. Built as a private, or family, saloon in 1870 for the North Eastern Railway. It had a relatively short career, before withdrawal and disposal. It was eventually rescued from a location near Chester-Le-Street by the current owner in the 1970s.
