Bedford MW general service tender - designed as a military utility vehicle, a lightweight lorry. The RAF used them in a wide range of roles.
This particular example was specially prepared to tow the trailer carrying the Marshall of the Royal Air Force, Viscount Hugh Trenchard during his State Funeral on the 21st February 1956.
