The other side of LNER 2459 - 4-wheel horsebox was built at Earlestown to Dia9 [LNER Design] in1954.
Sold in 1965 to Manchester Ship Canal Co & modified as their "Cashier's Coach No.3" [ie Pay coach].
Bought & moved initially to Southport in 1983, moved over to Preston Docks 1999. Currently stored in an unrestored state in the museum.
