This charts changes in individual poll and an average "poll of polls" as at 15Apr2024, prior to the UK's 2024 general election.
Some interesting trends in this diagram. Produced by the BBC compiling the results of opinion polls on voting intention. The peaks, troughs and trends are responses to various events, personalities and scandals in the UK political landscape up to mid-April 2024. The UK will hold their next general election during July 2024, and it will be interesting to see if this polling trend is replicated at the ballot box.

The biggest "twitch" - in late 2022 - was a reaction to the short-lived lizz truss administration, and an absolutely disastrous attempt at a budget.
This was on top off a long-term decline in popularity of the nasty / tory party, developing - at least in part - from their mis-handling of many aspects of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
