CoLC - average taxes after budget in March 2024

For the party that trumpeted they were for low levels of taxation, the March 2024 budget was nothing of the sort for the average working person.
Hunt appears to have reduced the headline National Insurance rates, but the "average" has increased and Income Tax "average" has continued to rise since c2018/9 as a proportion of earnings.
{note also that many "indirect" taxes have increased whilst "direct" taxes have appeared to decrease}.
