A wider view of the whole turnstile. I think the left-hand side may have been modified for accessibility reasons, which since there are full gates on the other [exit] side of the building to the right, seems a little over the top.

[It does need a little tlc, especially with the paintwork]

I hated this the first time I had to go through one, it was 50 years ago I don’t remember in which country I was visiting, it was to enter in a park… I felt like I was treated like cattle, we don’t have that here. But nowadays maybe like in other cities they are used for urban access to transports… but as I dont go to big cities… I don’t know.
