Clachan Bridge links Seil Island to western mainland Scotland. Also known as The Bridge over the Atlantic, there is a terrific tidal race that flows under this bridge. At just after 10:05, this is not far short of high tide, and that means there will be a brief period of slack water.

My pleasure - I've made one of my personal aims in life to learn something new everyday.

As a professional Librarian, much of my work has been spent finding things, often new information, for others ... so when I can combine these two, I feel as though I have done something !
