Great holiday snap of Rabbit here. I know what you mean about the horse flies and 'wee beasties' here. We got bitten to death on these shores but nice views to compensate. My kind of fence in the background too. Well done.

A beautiful location and a lovely shot Rabbit. I think the fence is to tether the 'horse' flies to so that Rabbit can swim safely! Lol! We have been in Scotland when there were o many midges I came back with more spots than a road map! A belated HFF and have a great weekend.

No horseflies, midges, mosquitos at Lake Constance so far. But only little water, too. You rather need hiking shoes instead of bathing wear to have a swim .. :-(

Oh dear! I remember having a refreshing swim in your lake a few years ago, in early June.

I stopped of briefly at Loch Lomond on a cold winters day a few years back...........it was very misty then and was hauntingly beautiful. It looks just as lovely (and much warmer) in this shot.

I hope the horse-flies didn't bite Rabbit.
