This one is best viewed large and in full screen. There are no colour enhancements. The black volcanic rock stands out against the yellowy grass. When this was taken, I suspect that ice and snow had not long melted, hence the flattened look.

An old Icelandic volcanic crater with warm water minerals and algae that produce a beautiful green colour. I like the way that the sky almost touches the water in this photo. Works well in full screen.
