A bracketed shot taken with the drone. Works well viewed large and full screen.

A wonderful image Ed. The sky is absolutely gorgeous and I love the light reflected on the water. I like the silhouettes of the fort, navigation aids and the sailing boat.

Definitely worth viewing large!

I must admit that this is a great photo my friend. I have very mixed feelings about drone photography. As the top models of drones can take hundreds of shots, all in wonderful hi-def, you cannot but help to take great high vantage-point photos - all by remote control watching the monitor, in a way, taking away the very art of the established photography tradition. However the results are here to see and one could argue that the same shot might have been taken from a skyscraper or mountain. Not -I may add, taking away from the obvious expertise that the drone controller has to take to get these. Hence my mixed reaction to them.

Love this scene even though the colours are a bit suspect to me. Well done!

Thanks for all your comments. Thanks Herb for the constructive feedback. I agree with most of your points, particularly the ease of taking high vantage-point photos, that is, after all the reason we buy drones for photography! However, the practiced art of composition remains exactly the same. I often find that achieving good balanced light can be very problematic as the sensors are usually small. I get around the lack of dynamic range using bracketed RAW shots and combine using HDR processing. The knack there is shooting the correct bracketed range for the conditions. There is digital polarisation applied to the sky as I don't have a polarising filter for my drone, however I understand they are now available and I might invest!
