Bush fire
A few weeks of warm/hot weather during May/June of 2010, plus what was believed to be a stray spark from a passing steam loco from the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, and this is the result.
Photo taken from Saltcoats Level Crossing, about 2 miles away as the crow flies.
It was 3 days before the firefighters finally left the hillside.
