Redbridge
About 3 or 4 miles out of Southampton, and junction of the lines to Bournemouth and Weymouth, to the left, and Salisbury, to the right. The signalbox controls the road access into Redbridge Sleeper Works, whose tracks can be seen on the left. An unidentified BRCW Crompton Type 3 passes light engine heading west. Signalbox, Sleeper Works and Class 33 all now long gone.
