The view from the Esplanade in Fowey across the River Fowey to Polruan as a fishing boat departs.

On the left is one of the two defensive blockhouses, one on each side of the harbour entrance, built in the 15th century.

HFF (there is a fence in there!) everyone. Have a great weekend.

I haven't been there for a long time, but love Fowey! My brother-in-law once had an Hotel there....I wish he still had it!! Super shot HFF.
