Fred leans out of the cab of Fowler 3F 0-6-0T 47406 in Duffield EVR station. Deja vu because he was a fireman at Stoke shed in the 1960s and worked on Jintys for many years around Staffordshire.

On my third turn at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway I finally got to ride down the line on 47406 as owner's rep and spent a very enjoyable day with Fred and Andy sharing the prep, firing and driving.
