On the radar
This mobile radar unit was operating in the car park of Hoben Minerals at Harboro Rocks, Brassington in the Peak District. What I want to know is why it was there?
Trent
Rolls-Royce Trent turbofan engine at the Heritage Trust Museum in Derby. I am unsure which model of the engine this is but it is one of the more recent developments. On the left is an earlier version on which can be seen the kevlar layer to stop flying debris if the engine is damaged or parts break off. The newer engine omits this feature as the protective casing is machined from titanium.

Aiming
Bomb aimer's position in the nose of a Canberra bomber at the Rolls-Royce Heritage Centre in Derby. There wasn't much room.

Anson flypast
Avro Anson, WD 413, did several flypasts at the Poynton Show. Apparently it is one of only two still flying in the UK.
Last one flying
Vulcan XH558 came back to its birthplace at Woodford in June 2015 for an emotional farewell as this was its last season in flight. Thousands turned out around the former airfield and factory to see this wonderful plane put in a couple of flypasts. Most people were very quiet as it headed off over Alderley Edge and a legend was gone.
