Overburden

Overburden
SY 1689 sets off with a load of overburden as the ground is stripped at the edge of the vast Jalainur opencast coal mine. In the background is the vast washery building and the white painted headquarters of the mine administration. The numerous coal seams are evident deeper into the pit.

Interessantes Bild. Die Lokomotiven wurden sozusagen mit ihrem eigenen Rohstoff aus der Mine angetrieben.
