Tor Quarry
Gritstone quarrying at Tor farm at Bradfield Dale, near Sheffield, seems to have started just before 1900. By 1963 activity seems to have ceased, so this crane has probably been abandoned for over sixty years. Having looked at the latest aerial view it appears that this has now been replaced by a large agricultural building.
