Having climbed the Cheshire Locks from Middlewich these boats are approaching the summit of the Trent and Mersey Canal at Hardingswood. The penultimate double lock can be seen through the arch of the Pool Lock aqueduct which carries the branch of the canal which joins the Macclesfield Canal at Hall Green.
