F Tyler's tub
A run of tubs being hauled out of the drift at High Carr No.3 Mine operated by the Great Row Colliery Co.Ltd. This was on one of my trips to see the small mines that were operating around North Staffordshire in the early 1980s. At all these small mines permission to enter the site and take photographs was granted when I asked, and I was given free rein to look at any of the surface features and enginehouses. If such places were operating these days I would no doubt have been excluded on the basis that people die the instant they set foot on industrial premises. :-(
