Winter steam

As I pack my bag for another trip to icy northern China, this image reminds me of why it is still worth making the trek. A train of empties slogs towards the summit of the Huanan Coal Railway. There are no roads up here but the photographic opportunities make the long, cold, walk in worthwhile.
