Munt - Coin

Vandaag is het Koningsdag, de verjaardag van koning Willem-Alexander. Sinds 2014 wordt Koningsdag gevierd nadat koningin Beatrix op 30 april 2013 troonsafstand deed. Die dag was dus vooralsnog de allerlaatste Koninginnedag.

Op de foto een Nederlandse uitgave van de munt van 1 euro, en heel toepasselijk is de ondergrond oranje.

Today it is King’s Day in The Netherlands, the birthday of king Willem-Alexander van Oranje-Nassau. Since 2014 King’s Day is celebrated in stead of Queen’s Day, on 30 April 2013 queen Beatrix abdicated. That day was for the time being the very last Queen’s Day.

On the photo a Dutch issue of the 1 euro coin, the underground is, quite appropiately, orange.
