Blue and white

The sky was such an intense blue yesterday it made the cherry blossom look unreal. Hundreds of bees were buzzing around.

Akebia quinata

Straight from camera - another one for the scavenger hunt. This is a really vigorous climber - it starts flowering now and when it's warmed by the sun gives off a chocolatey scent...lovely.
