Inside a Rainforest

If you live in or spend time in San Francisco it is possible to visit a rainforest (within the California Academy of Sciences). For those who wish to act like Tarzan, it is unfortunately forbidden to leave the fenced walkways . . .

Scaled Walls
| |
|
|

I have always been interested in fossilized remains of ancient life. That interest also applies to old architectural design elements.
San Francisco still retains some dated architecture in splendid shape. Like ancient life where scaly fish crawled out of the sea to eventually over time become modern creatures, the early Victorian designs evolved from scaly façades to the sleek steel and glass skyscrapers that pierce the horizon today.

Dock of the Bay
| |
|
|
Sittin' in the mornin' sun
I'll be sittin' when the evenin' come
Watching the ships roll in
And then I watch 'em roll away again, yeah
I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
I'm just sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time
