The Twist

The Twist
Come on, baby
Let's do the twist
Come on, baby
Let's do the twist
Take me by my little hand
And go like this

"Let's twist again like we did last summer...."

Really nice cactus. Is it a barrel cactus? My late mother just adored cacti and had several growing around her house.

This is a Twisted Barrel Cactus (Ferocactus herrerae), native to coastal Mexico.
It has likely been here for 50 years or more.
The Historic Cactus Garden located in the Beverly Gardens Park is a great place for cactus lovers (and photographers).
