Bartlesman van Elikinhuisen Dairy Farm
In a beautiful valley at the base of the Andes, just east of Lago Maihue and Lago Ranco, a Dutch immigrant dairy farmer lived with his family. I stayed on the farm for a few days on several occasions.
Richard Bartlesman van Elikenhuisen had a name that most Chileans could not pronounce but he was highly respected and known in nearby Valdivia.
This photo was shot from a Yashica ELECTRO 35CC with a COLOR-YASHINON DX 1:1.8 f=35mm lens, scanned by an HP Scanjet G4050 from a Kodak 135 negative and digitalized (and restored) with Photoshop
