Fishing through a hole in the ice
This was one of several ice-fishing "tents" that dotted the frozen Spray Lakes, south of Canmore (near Banff). I liked this bright red one, that added a tiny splash of warm colour to an otherwise white and blue landscape. Taken on a wonderful day out in the wild Highway 40/Smith Dorrien area, on 13 January 2013.
