If you go down to the woods today...

An old supermacro photo, taken on 23 September 2010, at Brown-Lowery Provincial Park. Happened to come across it when I was backing up a few more files. That was a great year for fungi, also 2009. Last year was not good and this year either has started off slow or else is another not-so-great year. After all the rain (and hail) we've had this summer, hopefully there will be a few more fungi appearing. Yesterday, we had yet another storm, with strong winds and torrential rain (no hail in my area, thank goodness).
