Peony growing in the wild


One of the main naturalists in the city said he has only ever seen this Peony in bloom twice in 18 years. I was lucky enough to be down at Inglewood Bird Sanctuary on June 19th and found these rather battered, pale pink flowers. Interesting to see a Peony growing wild, which is why I'm posting this - not for the photo's technical quality, lol..
