I'm the king of the castle ...

I'm the king of the castle ...
I was so glad I called in to see the Great Horned Owl family yesterday . For the first time, I got to see two of the three owlets standing on top of the rim of their nesting tree. We watched as one of them clawed and flapped its way up the inside of the cavity, and it was so cute when the other one watched as elder brother/sister climbed.

Have to get ready soon to go off to do our Snake Monitoring and after that, must decide where to go. Just too many places and things to check out, sometimes I find it SO hard to choose : ) So often, it's the weather that helps with that decision, of course. (Ended up going to the Zoo for the afternoon - only got as far as the butterfly room, LOL!).
