End of a cold winter's day
This was taken on New Year's Day, in the late afternoon. A few of us had gone over to this side of the Bow River (across from the east end of Fish Creek Park) in the hopes of seeing the elusive Snow Goose that had been reported in the area. I think the temperature was only around -14C, but it felt more like -30C, especially when standing in one spot for a long time. No sign of the Snow Goose that day, but some of us were lucky enough to see it on 5th January.
