Greenwich Seagull

Fences are, of course, meant for seagulls to stand on! Canary Wharf skyline has changed so much in the last 5 years... HFF everyone! Wishing you all a lovely and peaceful, safe weekend.

Mrs Bambi

In 2021, the deer of Greenwich Park were removed as the park was being 'improved'... to the great sadness of all of us who loved so much seeing these beautiful animals strolling around nonchalantly... After two years without a sign of their return, we all thought we'd never see them again... but.... Oh, joy! In May this year, the Royal Parks posted the news that 'the fallow deer had returned'.... I have been going regularly since the 1st of May, hoping to catch a glimpse, without any success, but yesterday, my dedication was finally rewarded and I was able to get a snapshot of Mr and Mrs Bambi (to be clear, I know they're both male as females - does - do not have antlers.... I am just having fun...) These are fallow deer - there are apparently 6 types of deer, but more about this another time....
