"Just What I Needed"

"Just What I Needed"
HAPPY FENCE FRIDAY, ALL :-)

I normally hibernate when it is cold and snowy :-) But, last Monday I braved the elements and went to Oxford. Thankfully, most of the snow had disappeared!

This shot is of Nuffield College and I believe this is the library tower topped by a flèche. A flèche is, apparently, a lead-covered timber spire, or spirelet :-)

Nuffield College was founded in 1937 after a donation to the University by William Richard Morris an English motor manufacturer who founded Morris Motors Limited.

I was looking for a motor car link for 'Sight and Sound' and here comes a very wayward one :-)

There is a group called 'The Cars'. I am using their song "Just What I Needed" covered here by Postmodern Jukebox featuring Sara Niemietz :-)

It actually seemed a little bit warmer here today although they are saying Easter could be pretty cold :-(

Well - in twos its warmer! ;-DD

Here also a bit better, the snow is gone, we have blue sky and sun. But also only for the next three days, then the forecast says again colder and rain! :(

Much the same forecast here. I am working on Spring arriving here on or about 15 April :-)
Probably not going to be cold enough to hibernate so we may have to wait until next Winter to get together, Dida :-)))

Glad you put this one up Roger, cleared up a something in my mind about a song "They shoot horses don't they" which I always thought was by "The Cars" I have just researched it and in fact it was "The Racing Cars", different time and style.
