As Mick says this track is from Fairport's 'What We Did on Our Holidays' album. I don't have much Fairport music but I always come back to this album :-)

It is most probably an obvious thing to say but this lady is sitting in front of the recently opened Weston Library in Broad Street :-) The Library was previously hiding behind the 'A to Z' hoardings whilst building work was underway :-) Clearly there will not be any more of my 'A to Z' shots but this could now be the place for some more candid shots ...........methinks :-))

Unfortunately (or fortunately, as the case may be) I don't have the right app to fix her pants. Oh well, hopefully next semester she will be able to afford some new pants, poor thing... No matter, the song is SO great and reminiscent of the times. It reminds me of early Byrds' tunes and also of the Stone Ponies. Great combination and congratulations on #1001!! Here's to the next 1000. :)

:-) .....Sometimes the right app is so appropriate and is rated 10 out of 10. But, personally, I wouldn't give a 'fixing pants' app 10 out of 10. Would likely only deserve to be rated 0 out of 10 methinks :-) Yes, this track is reminiscent of the times and I regularly come back to the album. Congratulations again on the 1,000th upload, Karen and it was great to follow with upload 1,001 :-) Indeed, I don't think it will be too long before we start approaching upload number 2,000 :-)
