Our House, 1970s
Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: A LITTLE OR A LOT OF SNOW
For the week of February 2 - February 8, 2026
This is a photo of our house about 12 - 15 years before we moved into it. Our neighbor, Eva, gave me this photo which was taken from her house - so you can see how steep the hill is!
Some changes that are visible: We now have a different, wider wraparound porch, cars do not park on the side anymore, the two pine trees died about twenty years ago, and we no longer have shutters.
I notice in this photo that the snow on the road was not recently plowed but perhaps they were between passes. The town crew are remarkably good at keeping the road accessible - although I bet we’re not a favorite little byway!
