Joy!
Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park monthly theme of: JOY
A blurry little snapshot, but so full of joy! c. 1916
Written on the back:
Vivian & her Xmas dollie.
Vivian received another dollie from a lady in Rochester, NY that we met when we were here three years ago.
Hope your children have a merry Xmas.

I love the huge upright bow in the girl's hair. (My mother grew up in Rochester, NY and had a large doll somewhat similar, but her name wasn't Vivian - haha, not that I thought this was a photo of her.)
You have such great vintage images in general.
found and enjoyed in 'flickr refugees'
And you've just reminded me to add this photo to my Vintage Enormous Bows group!
Thank you for the invitation to the pure art group!
