First Communion with Gold Touches
A First Communion tintype showing the commonly added pink cheeks and the less commonly added gold touches. (More easily seen in the largest image.)
Her brooch, prayer book, and (strangely) her left ring finger have all been daubed with a tiny amount of gold.
I would guess that this was probably taken in the 1890s but there's no way that I know of to date it exactly.
Found in a Vintage Store on a visit to Connecticut, 2023.
