San Gabriel, California

San Gabriel, California
Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: An Arch
The arch appears to front an entrance to a double garage and perhaps a backyard. Apparently, according to the writing on the back, these two houses were owned by the Searles family.
View in Large for a much better look!

Written on the back:
Don't know if I ever sent you a picture of the house before. If I did you can give Jessie this when she gets home. Taken Thursday, May 19th, 1927.
Searles homes, 1115-117 E. Broadway, E. San Gabriel Calif.

loved looking at this large and discovering the child on the right and the man in the middle.

Thanks, Laura!
When I looked at it after importing, the enlargement seemed particularly cool and informational. Glad you checked it out!

Great photo! Could these houses on Google Maps be the same ones as in your photo? If so, the arch is gone but many of the other details seem similar.

Wow, Alan! I think you found them - so cool!
You are obviously far better than I at Google Maps. After repeated tries all I kept getting was an intersection!
