Pear Tree in Bloom
Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: FLOWERS OR TREES
This is a little photo taken somewhere in New England c.1920 and is part of an album and loose photos gifted to me by a patron.
I find it remarkably sweet, for some reason.
Can anyone decipher the last word/words?
It's also going into my fairly new "Laundry on the Line" album!

It feels really old (maybe because of the laundry line, but the building make it seem not quite as old as I thought.
The words? Very hard. I keep thinking "Casa" (or maybe "Sara", but the 'r's in the first words are more upright than here), but that second word? The ending could be "_hiet", or "_hiel", or "_iut" ... so many possibilities and not enough examples of letters from the first words. But wait, could the first letter of the last word be a "b"? Compare it to the "b" of "bloom".
Thanks for your visit and comments! I have been casually collecting since I was a teen (found photographs, Studio Portraits of Children) but it was a pretty small collection since I was often broke! I still buy cheap - it's a fairly frugal hobby for most people. Apart from the "Found photos" - (and I've expanded the subjects I collect by quite a lot over the years) - I inherited many family photos and my husband's family photos. Both sides had very enthusiastic amateur photographers, so it's a pretty big collection. Also, library patrons have given me albums and photos. Hard for me to believe, but many people are happy to be rid of them!
I do buy online occasionally, but in general get them in antique or junk shops.
I'm not a big shopper, though so sometimes a very long time can go by before I get anything "new".
Thank you for trying to decipher the writing on the photo. Not sure about the "B" or any other letter! It's funny, the closest I could get was "Cora Lhicet". haha
I look forward to other guesses and then perhaps we can take a vote. : )
