This is not a family postcard, although funnily enough it was mailed from Greenock, Scotland (where my husband's paternal grandmother was from), to Vermont, where she emigrated.

Very nice summer scene. Last summer, while on a cruise of the UK, our ship docked at Greenock but we toured the highlands and didn't see any of the town other than what could be seen from the ship. It used to be a huge ship building center but only one shipyard remains today. www.ipernity.com/doc/rgreyson/39306712

It was a delightful cruise tour of the UK. Trying to see a bit of the world before I run out of gas :) I think you were probably pretty tied up with new grandchildren and travels of your own when I posted the photos last June.
