Reading the paper, Listening to the Radio.

Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "Outdated technology."
This is what my parents usually did in the evenings - listened to the radio and read. My mother also knit, sometimes.
That heavy radio is perched on the mantel.
I'm not sure of it's age, but this photo was taken in 1953 - and I know my parents did not have many new things.
