Henry, Me and the Old Deckhand

This is so cool! When we were on the top deck of the Ticonderoga, this gentleman stopped by to tell us that he worked on the Ti when it sailed Lake Champlain in the 1950s! He said he wasn't able to keep the job for long because it was so rowdy, once it left the harbor, his mother made him quit. Still, I asked him if I could get a photo with he and Henry together (historic!) and he was happy to go along with it. (Henry got very shy so I had to be with him.)
He was a brand new docent, so I think we made him feel good about his first day, too!
