Hier, waar de nayver der ſteden tot 1648 ſlechts een Overtoom en daarna een Verlaat met doorvaartwydte van 3.80M. en doorvaarthoogte van 2.20M. ge doogde, hebben zy deze ſluis wyd 7 M., met beweegbare bruggen, bevolen.
