Nieuwerbrug - Toll Bridge

This toll bridge was built in 1651 to facilitate the trade between Woerden and Bodegraven. A little village established itself around the bridge. Nieuwerbrug means new bridge. They claim that they are currently the only toll bridge in the Netherlands. It costs € 0.50 to pass, but I didn't see a bridge master today to collect the toll.
