The project is working--I removed a good half-dozen skirts from my closet today, that I just couldn't see wearing for this series--and if I won't wear them now, I'm not ever likely to. So, they go. Day 26 of "All the Skirts in my Closet." Top: thrifted, Nu Construction Skirt: thrifted, Harari I haven't worn this skirt in a while because the hem needed to be mended. So I mended it. Took a few minutes; it was silly to leave it sitting in the closet so long.

Day 24 of "All the Skirts in my Closet." Zip hoodie: Caslon (thrifted) Skirt: VIntage Blues (thrifted) Boots: Hushpuppies Still not feeling great (thus the zip hoodie), and it was rainy today. This long denim skirt is my go-to for days when I'll probably just be sleeping or reading or snuggling a kid.

Saigon Dish in Lawndale is hopping at lunchtime! I just went because it seemed like a pho day.

I altered a thriftshop tunic with crochet, then embellished it with appliques, including yoyos, buttons, and some lace-framed silk prints from Flickr Commons (see below).

Day 22 of "All the Skirts in my Closet."
