Redondo rainbow, 4/26/12

Had to pull over on the way home from dropping kids at school this morning--and I wasn't the only one who stopped to look or take pictures there. That's Perry Park under the rainbow.

Daughter and a younger girl who provided audience commentary. We didn't know her, but she was a nice kid who saw a kindred spirit. (They also looked at Nell's new copy of Nintendo Power.)

Squares made by nine different women in a local snb group. Big enough to cover a standard futon.
Mora, Whitney Pins & Cards
| |
|
Part of a set of 34 pins I made for the local art education program--they were distributed to the volunteers who spent two school days to select the six projects for next year. Each volunteer got a business card that explained who was on the pin. (The rest are represented elsewhere in my Flickr stream.) The image of Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney is from the Smithsonian uploads to Flickr Commons (see below).

Part of the Harbor Association's Earth Day activities today. This was my first panel.

This was my second panel. A student from USC came and made a time-lapse film of me doing this one--she started when it was a blank panel, and took a photo every 30 seconds for an hour, until it was done. Can't wait to see the results.
