The quietness of the grave hangs over this one, on a perfect summer’s day in a picture postcard English village. If you can process this into grainy, sooty, black and white it will certainly have something to commend it.

Thanks, but the composition isn't quite strong enough for that.

I agree that many of my pictures of this genre (with no figures or other signs of life in them) have a rather 'dead' feel to them.

I really need a couple of actors dressed as country folk to come with me on my travels who I can pose as needed.
