Manchester May Memories (2) - 7 May 1986

My records reveal that on 7 May 1986 I made a day trip to Manchester (from London) and, on a whirlwind tour, took in Manchester Piccadilly, Rose Hill Marple, Stockport and Manchester Victoria.

At that time Pacers were barely a year old and I believe I found it quite pleasing that I was to travel on one from Piccadilly to Rose Hill (here). I posted two pictures of this unit, 142011, at Rose Hill some considerable time ago [qv]. This is the second in a short series of previously unpublished pictures from that day.
