Rowans Hospice Shop, Fareham (Ghost Sign) - 3 February 2019
The Rowans Hospice shop, 49 West Street, Fareham has on its west facing wall a ghost sign for 'The Home and Colonial Tea Stores'. The building I assume to date from the second half of the 19th century. The story of Home and Colonial Stores, which originally sold mostly tea makes an interesting read.
