More than four years after my last visit to the Great Central Railway, it was worth braving persistent rain to provide an updated document of the state of preservation at Loughborough Central. Steam and diesel benefit equally from the excellent work there and British Railways Standard Class 5MT 4-6-0 73156 demonstrates this well.
